Maren and Alain are always approachable and can help in virtually any situation. Or you know someone who can help😊. I did my Sidemount course and Discover Rebreather with Alain and was extremely happy with the entire process. Good and accurate briefings. Exact instructions on the equipment and all questions answered perfectly. Maren completed my training up to the DM perfectly and the fun was never neglected. You must dive with these guys if you get lucky enough to go to Curaçao! I can’t say enough good things about Maren as a scuba teacher. She was terrific about supplying us with equipment and air daily while we were here. I highly recommend Into the Blue and the island of Curacao for scuba diving!

Can only recommend them. They know the beautiful diving spots and respond to your personal wishes. both are very competent divers. no matter if you book an OWD or a TEC course, they really know what they are talking about. Of course, you also have unlimited air for divers who prefer to dive alone. Even if you have questions when you're looking for a good restaurant, a supermarket or another activity, they are always there !!

We returned to Maren and her team this year for the open water certification after last year’s introductory dives which were very easy and pleasant for my family. This year we came as a company of 10 ppl (including 3 kids under 13). Instructors did a great job to go with us through every step of our certification process. We’re always calm, patient, answered all our questions and helped each person with some specific problems (slower ears equalizing etc). We are very grateful for this amazing experience!

my SDI open water certification with them last week, and couldn’t be happier.
Wow, what a team Maren and Alain are. It starts with the personal side of things. They are very down-to-earth, funny, approachable, friendly… so easy to talk to and even make friends with.
And of course, the diving side of things. The way they explain things is a fine balance - slow and concise, but exactly the right amount of information (not too much) - and importantly, at the right time, when I needed to hear it. They kept a very close eye on the students, and managed to communicate so well underwater that I never felt the urge to come up and clarify anything. They are teachers by heart, and very good ones at that. I would trust my life with them.
And as a side note, the equipment they provided was high quality, there was never anything wrong with the tanks, nor any diving gear.
100/100 Highly recommended!

I did my advanced, nitrox and rescue with Maren and Alain, including the first aid training.
They are as friendly as knowledgeable, their teaching method is efficient and they question you and joke around to make sure you understand what’s important in a fun way!
They also know the island very well and have many contacts in all kinds of entertainments to help you make the most of your stay.

Just got back from a week diving in Curacao and cant say enough good things about Into the Blue. Maren and Alain went out of their way to help us with last minute rebreather support for the week, brought us extra supplies we didn't think to ask for to make life easier (containers and rinse jugs to keep our wet and sandy gear from wrecking the rental car, rinse jugs, save a dive and drive/road supplies, and a dive site guide book), tips for great dive spots, things to do, and amazing places to eat.
Their prices are more then reasonable, getting fills was easy and quick, and they even found us a spear and zookeeper after we complained about the number of giant lion fish we were seeing.
Overall, it was a fantastic week and we had a great time. If you're looking for classes (beginner to advanced/tech) or a dive shop for guides/gear in Curacao, I highly recommend them. Into the Blue will be our dive shop everytime we visit - and we will definitely be back!

I had an absolutely incredible diving experience with Maren in Curaçao! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Maren is not only extremely knowledgeable and professional, but also warm, patient, and genuinely passionate about diving and the ocean. She made me feel completely comfortable and confident, whether underwater or during the pre-dive briefing. The dive sites were stunning—crystal-clear water, vibrant coral, and so much marine life—and Maren knew exactly where to go to make the experience unforgettable. She took her time, never rushed the dive, and made sure everyone felt safe and relaxed while still having an amazing adventure. This was easily one of the highlights of my trip to Curaçao, and I cannot recommend diving with Maren enough. If you’re considering a dive here, book with her—you won’t regret it!
